Second gig in England

After the success of my first gig in England and having to setup my own gear, the band continued and we named our group as the Hampered Balls. This time, the band was invited to be the guest band during the Filipino Christmas Party in Romsey 2009. There was a bit of obstacle during that time as two of our bandmates were in Uni. Dave did not make it to the gig and Ali made it and just jam along some of the songs as I gave him mp3 copy of the songs. It was first time seeing my English mates playing Filipino songs. We didn't have a bassist that night but we managed to get the crowd to sing and dance with our songs.

Also we did a semi-unplugged session while they having the food and it was a 3-piece unplugged set. Lofel was the vocalist, Mike was rhythm guitarist and I was the lead guitarist. We played Torete by Moonstar88 and Wag Na Wag Mong Sasabihin by Kitchie Nadal.

During the finale of our gig, we asked Abu our good friend to jam with us and he sang Kisapmata by Rivermaya and Narda by Kamikazee. Also the band played Sweet Child O' Mine, Summer of 69, Everybody Wants To Rule The World and Mustang Sally.

Energy XT file save as MP3 The first thing we need to do in order to export our file, loop, clip, song or project into MP3 is to download and install LAME file to EnergyXT program. Copy it and paste it in your EnergyXT folder. Normally the directory will be like this C:\Program Files\Energy XT\energyXT 2.5 for Windows Try and open now your EnergyXT and save or export file as MP3 to see if it works.

My first recording experience

I went to Norwich, a couple days back with my band, Crossedwind, to record our original compositions. We've been exchanging on the net about ideas and backing tracks on our songs. We made use of our celphones, recording our raw materials... pretty rough record but we managed Then, I keep doing the backing tracks so that my bandmates can rehearse the song whilst Im away because I live here in Southampton. To cut the story short, we almost managed to practise and finalised our songs virtually. We have four songs to record, so I arrived in Norwich last May 22 at around 6 pm, went straight to Earth Studio to rehearse. EnergyXT comes with a flashdrive

EnegyXT comes with a portable drive or what we call flash drive. In there are necessary files to run EnergyXT to any computer from a desktop or a laptop or a netbook as long as you got access to USB. The files that we need to copy are: clips presets projects samples temp\ energyXT2.exe energyXT.ini lame.exe libaam.dll xt.lck energyXT2 VST.dll energyXT.ini And paste these files in the program files with your folder EnergyXT then create a desktop shortcut or copy the shortcut onto your desktop. The more you update your EnergyXT the more files will be included like rexloader, etc. You can now hop from one computer to another always make sure to keep your flashdrive safe and secure. This is what Im doing now, from Dell Inspiron to Sony Vaio to my wife's HP mini. Really portable and handy.
